- Proactively identifies and advises internal management of competitive landscape in region and identifies regional marketing opportunities
- Develops and implements the regional strategy
- Leads, motivates, and develops the sales department; identifies, develops, builds and grows relationships with key strategic partners
- Responsible for managing and reporting on all aspects of the business and meeting & exceeding established annual volume & revenue budget for region
- Ensures customer feedback & input is fed into internal teams as required for marketing & product development purposes
- Recommends, plans, organizes, and attends relevant industry trade shows, events, conferences as required
- Full use of company CRM system to manage and report on business
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
- University degree, Qualified appropriate further training in the subject areas or an engineering degree preferably MBA in the field of business administration
- Strong sales and marketing analytical skills
- At least 15 years of leadership experience in selling and distributing, technically oriented products, mandatorily in an international company
- Leadership experience with strong interpersonal and communications skills and a demonstrated ability to motivate, build trust, gain support and instill accountability,
- Understanding of residential, commercial and utility-scale business, along with all aspects of current technologies, market drivers, key initiatives, competitive landscape, customers, industry alliances
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English language required
- Proficiency in all standard office computer software packages and tools, along with SAP systems
- Strong analytic skills to analyze/assess data, solve complex problems quickly and effectively,
- Effective time management, prioritization and self-management ability to run multiple tasks/projects in parallel
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work strategically, but also hands-on problem solving
