Our presence in Turkey is part of this global mission.Position OverviewAs an Accounting Manager, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations in Turkey, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and consistency with group financial policies. You’ll collaborate with internal teams—including finance and operations—and support financial reporting, audits, and process enhancements.Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Supervise general ledger activities, accounts payable, receivable, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with local Turkish GAAP and group-wide IFRS standards.
- Support statutory and group audits, preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors.
- Manage and enhance internal control frameworks and accounting policies.
- Prepare and deliver management reporting packages and financial insights.
- Collaborate with regional finance and Turkey operations teams on financial matters and process improvements.
- Contribute to accounting-related projects, including ERP system enhancements and automation.
- Mentor, guide, and oversee the accounting team to ensure performance excellence.
- To carry out ATO Registration procedures (General Assembly Decisions, Board of Directors Decisions, Address Changes, Branch Opening / Closing, Capital Increase, etc.)
- Additional tasks and projects requested by Line Manager and accounting duties as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A professional certification (CPA, SMMM, YMM) is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years in accounting or finance, ideally with experience in a multinational or financial controlling environment.
- Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting principles, IFRS, tax legislation, and reporting standards.
- Experience managing financial closes, audits, and internal control processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Fluency in Turkish and English (written and spoken).
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to manage a small team effectively.
