We work together across our full spectrum of services and skills so that business, people and the planet can thrive together.Together, all in, to build a better working world.IFRS Desk Manager - İstanbul & AnkaraWe are seeking for a IFRS Desk Manager to join our Assurance - Audit and Accounting Services team in Istanbul or Ankara with the following qualifications;What We Look For

Strong academic background, including Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in audit, technical accounting, or advisory services
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and Turkish local GAAP (TFRS/BOBI FRS).In-depth understanding of financial reporting regulations
Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Professional accountancy qualification (SMMM, CPA, SPK) will be asset

Your key responsibilities

Provide high-quality technical IFRS support and guidance to engagement teams and clients
Review and assess financial statements for compliance with IFRS and local GAAP
Interpret new and complex IFRS standards and assess their implications for clients
Contribute to the development of EY publications, training sessions, and tools related to IFRS
Collaborate with global IFRS desks and industry specialists on technical consultations
Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations and assist in assessing their impact on EY clients
Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staff
