The OpportunityThis position works at Umraniye in the Core Diagnostics Division that we’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.Abbott Core Diagnostics Division is looking for Financial Planning and Analysis Manager reporting to Finance ControllerWhat You’ll Do

Responsible for local month and close including system processes, submissions, accruals
Lead the Planning, Reporting and Analysis process for responsible countries
Lead the financial IBP process for responsible countries
Manage and control multi-country P&L statements, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across different legal entities and jurisdictions.
This role will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the SAP implementation project, representing the CoreDX Finance function and ensuring a smooth transition to the new system
Support Acquisition process through financial calculations (EPICs) for new deals for the responsible countries
Support Customer Experience group through financial analyst for renewals for responsible countries
Ensure professional support for cross Division shared service responsibilities
Provide financial ad-hoc analysis
Ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., IAS 29), and adapting processes to reflect the impact of high inflation on financial statements.
Support implementation of process improvements across department and workgroups
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations
Participate in various financial projects and provide information for management for decision making
Ensure compliance with Abbott procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/ACCA is a plus).
Minimum 8 years' experience in Commercial Finance function
Strong business partner attitude to support the Commercial business groups.
High result and process orientation
Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
Strong organizational and management skills
Set priorities and organize work to meet strict deadlines
Strong analytical skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Customer oriented mindset
Proficiency in financial software and ERP (SAP) systems.
Advanced MS Office knowledge. Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills
Fluent in English
