Chief AccountantDepartment: Finance & ProcurementEmployment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: Turkey - AlacatiDescriptionChief AccountantKey Responsibilities· Oversee all accounting operations. including revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, payrolls, taxes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.· Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.· Lead the budgeting process, monitor actual performance versus budget and provide variance analysis and recommendations.· Manage cash flow, identify financial risks and opportunities, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.· Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards and all relevant legal regulations. Establish, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems; conduct regular audits to safeguard company assets.· Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory obligations.· Take a leading role in setting up financial systems and procedures during the pre-opening phase.· Liaise effectively with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field· Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the luxury hospitality or real estate sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.· Previous experience with international hotel chains / residences while experience with pre-opening projects is a strong advantage.· Advanced proficiency in MS Office and hotel accounting software's· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.· High ethical standards and a strong sense of confidentiality.· Proficiency in English
