- Understanding Client’s Challenges and Building Trust: Understand clients’ primary challenges and establish yourself as a trusted technical expert for their migration, deployment, and adoption of Hybrid Cloud and AI Growth offerings.
- Facilitating Use Case Exploration and Business Framing: Lead use case exploration and business framing workshops, develop client value realization models.
- Leading Persuasive Technical Conversations: Lead technical discussions that persuade clients to act based on their requirements and the value provided by IBM’s solutions.
- Creating Post-Deployment Customer Success Plans: Develop post-deployment customer success plans aimed at continually increasing post-launch, active user adoption of IBM’s products.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Data & AI technologies such as data lakes, data warehouses, data governance, machine learning platforms, and business intelligence tools (e.g., watsonx, IBM Cloud Pak for Data, Cognos Analytics)
- Customer Success & Adoption: Ability to develop growth plans that demonstrate how IBM offerings will deliver measurable customer outcomes. Experience managing multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously. Track record of driving customer success motions such as onboarding, enablement, health monitoring, and renewals in a Data and AI context
- Analytical & Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working with customer data to identify patterns, usage trends, and optimization opportunities
- Effective Communication and Relationship Building: Demonstrable success in communicating and personal relationship development at all levels, from engineers to CIOs.
- Self-Motivation and Problem-Solving Aptitude: A natural inclination toward self-motivation and initiative, in addition to the ability to navigate data and people to find answers and present solutions.
- 3-7 years of experience in Customer Success, Professional Services and/or Services Industries, Technical Sales (e.g., technology or management consulting)
- Experience working in or with clients in key industries such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, and Telecommunications
- Hands-on experience with Data & AI platforms (e.g., IBM watsonx, Cloud Pak for Data, Cognos Analytics, SPSS Modeler, or similar)
- Knowledge of data governance, MLOps, model lifecycle management, and data fabric architectures
