Responsible for overall management of inland operations across the country to ensure growth, profitability, and high customer satisfaction.
Oversee and optimize transport routes (truck, rail) to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, considering traffic, weather and operational risks.
Lead and manage Türkiye Inland team, provide coaching, training, and performance oversight in line with company policies and transport regulations.
Supervise end to end freight order management, from booking to final dispatch, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
Monitor shipment status proactively throughout its lifecycle, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.
Maintain accurate and timely records of inland operations; analyse shipment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure clear and consistent communication with customers regarding shipment status, delays, or disruptions.
Manage escalations and complaints during transportation, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure swift resolution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, customers and internal teams.
Develop and implement strategies to improve inland operational efficiency, including process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
Drive effective vendor performance management through regular reviews and feedback sessions.
Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and transport related regulatory requirements.
Contribute to business development and process innovation by identifying opportunities for improvement in inland logistics.

We are looking for:

University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in inland transportation, logistics operations or supply chain management, preferably in a multinational or matrix organization.
Proven experience in managing teams and leading operational functions with a focus on performance, efficiency, and service delivery.
Strong knowledge of transport planning, freight order management, and vendor coordination across multiple transport modes (truck, rail).
Experience in working with transport management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and digital logistics tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret operational data and drive continuous improvement.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
Proactive, structured, and customer-focused mindset with a passion for operational excellence.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Proficient at MS Office programs.
