- Build, hire and lead a team of exceptional Software Development Engineering Testers (SDETs)
- Provide technical testing and quality leadership to a growing team of SDETs
- Serve as a player-coach to the team of SDETs to understand test automation coverage, and help create, implement, maintain and improve testing approaches for our web and backend products
- Improve automated testing methodologies to maximize test coverage and ensure appropriate coverage across all levels of testing
- Automate testing for REST web service APIs / web applications / mobile applications
- Set up automation test environments for multiple application platforms (web, mobile & backend services)
- Lead the goal-setting process with the team, assist in prioritization, and own deliverables
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in the testing industry, including strong experience with test automation tools
- 3+ years experience managing technical teams, acting as a player-coach
- Capable of coaching direct reports and enabling their success and development
- Strong coding skills in programming languages like Java or Javascript
- Proficient with CI/CD workflows, with prior hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Github, etc
- Solid experience in automated testing for REST web services APIs and web applications
- Solid experience in automation frameworks, like testNG, Selenium or Cypress
- Prior experience working in an agile development environment, partnering with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, Program Management, etc.
- Inspiring leadership: you lead by example, can step in and be hands-on with writing automated test cases as needed, and can inspire a collaborative and positive team environment
