- Create new business opportunities while expanding the Rohde & Schwarz brand awareness in this market segment
- Primary objective is to promote the Rohde & Schwarz test equipment portfolio to the Aerospace and Defense market space
- Effectively demonstrate and communicate how all Rohde & Schwarz products can best solve the customer's measurement problem
- Work closely with the other members of the business development team; sharing information and developing a complete understanding of Milcom and Aerospace markets.
- Grow R&S market share - develop and manage sales funnel/forecast as part of the sales process
- Provide input and feedback and implement growth activities in close alignment with the worldwide Market Segment Management, Product Marketing, R&D, and Service organizations
- Develop a business plan that outlines how Rohde & Schwarz products can address business trends in this market segment
- Coordinate a diverse and decentralized team of Account Managers and Application Engineers in an effort to identify and leverage from industry interdependencies and win key opportunities

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field. Candidates without a technical degree will not be considered.
- Strong RF and test equipment background
- Program Management experience and demonstrated track record of sales leadership preferred
- An in-depth understanding of Radar/EW and EMSO technology
- An in-depth understanding of Space and Satellite.
- An in-depth understanding of key wireless technologies including 5G/6G devices and chipsets, military communications protocols, datalink comms networks, and avionics systems
- Commensurate sales experience with a solid understanding of current technologies and industry interdependencies within the DoD and Prime contractor space.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling in close cooperation with local Account Managers and Application Engineers, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed
- An established and extensive network within the DoD, DoD Primes, and 3PL organizations preferable
- The ability and willingness to travel up to 50% both nationally and internationally
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
- Currently located or willing to re-locate to Eastern Region of US, preferably Northeast.
