AZURE DATA ENGINEERWe are looking for an Azure Data Engineer who is responsible for designing and implementing the new Data Platform.The platform is implemented using Azure technology (Databricks, Data Factory, Azure SQL Databases) and covers end-to-end delivery of the data and analytics scope. The platform is comprised of various layers designed to deliver certain functionality. The Data Lake layer is responsible for data standardization and historization, the Analytical Store layer is the Data Warehouse from which various Data Marts extract modelled data.The delivery process to the testing and production environments is fully automated using Azure DevOps pipelines.You will operate as a team member in a DevOps team working on delivering reusable frameworks able to load and process data into data models, used to deliver analytics capabilities and BI to the business users.Your Skills:

At least 1 year working with Azure Databricks experience using Python, PySpark and Delta Tables
At least 1 year experience working with Azure Data Factory
At least 1 year experience working with Azure SQL Database
Azure Data Lake Storage experience
Azure DevOps experience in building yaml reusable pipelines
Power BI knowledge/experience is a plus
Azure Functions knowledge is a plus
Azure Synapse Analytics experience is a plus

Your role:

As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be working in a highly engaged Data Platform team
Support the planning and implementation of data platform features including sizing, configuration, technology assessment, security and infrastructure assessment and implementation and data needs assessment
Design and build modern frameworks to streamline date into the different layers of the data platform
Deliver CI/CD pipelines to deploy the different components of the platform
Support the good functioning of the platform
Continuously improve performance and optimize costs
