Investment Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our clients around the world. As a Investment Banker, you will drive the client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions.Unique to Citi, Investment Bankers are also responsible for deciding where to invest the firm’s capital and executing on those investments. Investment Bankers work in partnership with various Citi groups across the firm including Risk Management, Investment Banking and the Capital Markets Origination. You will receive a support and education on a variety of these topics to learn the fundamentals of the intern role and introduce you to Citi’s culture. So, whatever your degree is in we will give you the training you need to excel.We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. You will be placed with the Investment Banking team in Turkey to work with for the duration of the internship.Your time here will look something like this…
  • Assist bankers with the preparations of presentations, decks and other materials, including briefing memos for client meetings.
  • Coordinate with the relevant teams for new client onboarding documentations for KYC purposes.
  • Performs most basic, routine tasks/assignments.
  • Works under direct supervision with detailed procedures.
  • May service a very limited number of products/services.
  • Applies knowledge of routine work area procedures.
  • Completes standardized activities.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
We want to hear from you if…
  • You are available to start from June 2025.
  • You have strong academics.
  • You are currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement.
  • Fluent in English and Turkish.
  • Solid analytical / quantitative skills, balance sheet knowledge, and high attention to details.
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills and strong commitment.
  • Genuine interest in the Investment finance business and curiosity to learn more.
