- Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of international events - from initial concept to post-event evaluation - across key markets in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.
- Lead and coordinate a team of Event Managers, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop and execute event strategies that align with the organisation's objectives and global positioning, delivering measurable outcomes.
- Manage relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and partner organisations to ensure alignment of interests and fulfilment of commitments.
- Oversee venue and supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting to ensure optimal value, reliability, and quality of service.
- Provide oversight of speaker engagement, VIP agenda planning, and overall delegate experience.
- Manage event budgets in full, maintaining cost control while safeguarding quality and impact.
- Direct branding, messaging, and marketing initiatives related to events, ensuring consistency with the organisation's identity and standards.
- Define and track KPIs for all event-related activities, including logistics, attendee satisfaction, sponsor return on investment, and team performance.
- Serve as the main liaison for C-level executives and key stakeholders throughout the planning and delivery process.
- Support the professional development of team members, fostering accountability, skill growth, and high performance.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in international event management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, high-level conferences and private events across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prior experience working with HNWIs, government institutions, diplomatic entities, or international organisations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and motivating diverse, high-performing teams.
- Excellent project management, budget oversight, and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise confidently at senior levels.
- Full professional fluency in English; other languages are an asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently. Candidates must be able to travel freely to Europe, North America, and Asia.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
