- Responsible for data related to and management recommendations for Facility and Utility assets at the base level.
- Manages the planning of the electrical “activity” and integrates the electrical “sub-activities” into the Base Activity Management Plan (BAMP) and integration of their activity into the Base Comprehensive Asset Management Plan (BCAMP).
- Facilitates integration of sub-activity managers' requirements and priorities into BAMP and BCAMP to assess the activity, identify requirements, and effectively plan, program, budget, and execute resources necessary for optimal life-cycle operation of the activity using a risk-based approach.
- Manages the development and monitoring of metrics in assigned built and natural (B&N) infrastructure by tracking and evaluating goals, metrics, and trends ensuring the activity meets or exceeds all key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver optimal service.
- Assists in defining/prioritizing requirements within the respective activity, identifying and working to resolve issues.
- Functionally responsible to ensure the inventory of B&N assets reflects a sufficient level of detail to manage condition.
- Evaluates whether the repair or replacement recommendations from Sustainment Management Systems (SMS), for example NexGen IT, BUILDER, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) linear segmentation, are valid by using their knowledge of built assets and its related data.
- Utilizes SMS to identify 5-Year Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) +2 years investment requirements to repair/sustain systems throughout their life cycle. Participates in BCAMP development for execution planning as well as BAMP development for strategic investment planning.
