
Assistant Merchandiser

- Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams to exchange information, documentation, and approvals.
- Coordinate sample submissions for customer approval, including packing and shipment arrangements.
- Record and maintain order details in company systems for documentation, tracking, and analysis.
- Assist in the product development process to ensure quality, budget, and timeline requirements are met.
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors to support production schedules and quality standards.
- Communicate with design, sales, and merchandising teams regarding sample status and scheduling.
- Support the design team with test swatches, yarn planning, and the organization of the swatches and knit-downs library.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support to the merchandising team.
- Ensure compliance with organic and recycled order production procedures, maintaining necessary certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Having experience working with the woven product group is preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the textile, merchandising, or supply chain industry.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and proactively solve problems.
- Willingness to travel as required to support business operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant business tools.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
