Responsibilities
  • Reduce workforce losses and absenteeism due to work accidents,
  • Make the general risk assessment of the plant and to renew it if necessary,
  • Provide trainings on Health and Safety to sustain OHS awareness and inform the employees of the EHS Policy
  • Implement health and safety activities at Plant,
  • Organize annual evacuation drills and to follow the actions to be taken,
  • Follow up risk notifications and to create action plans,
  • Organize accident investigation meetings with relevant departments in case of work accidents/incidents,
  • Organize and conduct monthly EHS committee, publish the report and following the actions,
  • Follow up site tour findings and reporting field controls,
  • Plan field inspections and provide controls for routine and non-routine tasks
  • Support all committee established within the company as required by law regarding health and safety, and follow up legal and other requirements,
  • Participate in planned general reviews, follow up nonconformities, ensure the continuity and improvement of the system, ensure compliance with Legal and Other Requirements
  • Complete the legal measurements and the legal and PepsiCo requirements,
  • Ensure the continuity and improvement of the GEHSMS and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) System and the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ensure that the necessary actions are taken,
  • Having the responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to the food safety team
  • Monitor EHS budget and capex, preventing possible budget overruns, opening demands,
  • To monitor and manage energy consumption within the scope of ISO 50001 Energy Management System, to comply with the plan, to organize corrective and preventive actions for over-plan consumption, to establish systems and processes necessary for the improvement of energy performance, including energy efficiency, use and consumption.
  • Manage to wastewater treatment (WWTP) and organic waste management (OWM) plants
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred Engineering Departments)
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • Proficiency in English and Turkish language skills
  • B or C Class Safety Specialist Certificate
  • Good at MS Office applications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented
