Merchandising Manager

- Conduct regular market surveys and analysis to stay up-to-date with the sports, fashion, market situation, competitor situation, etc to examine an ideal channel, products, price and launch timing to distribute
- Manage the product assortment for the brand, ensuring the right mix of products based on market demand;
- Oversee inventory management to ensure stock levels are aligned with demand forecasts;
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective product strategies;
- Monitor product performance and recommend adjustments to the product range based on sales data;
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of products;
- Work closely with visual merchandising teams to ensure that products are presented in an engaging and strategic manner in patner stores and online.
- Manage product pricing, promotions, and seasonal transitions;
- Attend the seasonal product meeting in Japan to capture the updcoming seasonal product strategy and adopt them to the market.
- Communicate with the distribution partner as well as store staff frequently to capture the market demand
- Responsible for consolidation report and any other marchandizing related communication to global head-quarter in Japan
- University degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) required;
- Having at least 7-8 years of experience in merchandising, with a focus on ready-made products;
- Experience in the sportfootwear and/or sportswear industry is highly preferred;
- Strong understanding of inventory management and product assortment strategies;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and presentation;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing trends;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Advanced or fluent English level (prefered to have a high score in Proficient English Test like TOEIC, TOEFL)
