- Participating in the formulation of the WFC project and WFC-related development programme activities, by preparing inputs to planning, formulation and implementation of overall WFC and Implementing Partners' work plans and by monitoring budget implementation and preparing/reviewing financial and programmatic progress reports.
- Supporting the evaluation of project and programme activities, establishing ways to assess achievement and recommending corrective action as required; conducting field visits; participating in review meetings and evaluation missions and preparing regular inputs to status and progress reports.
- Monitors Implementing Partner activities, including applications and agreements, creating requisitions and projects, processes budget/work plan revisions and Funding Authorization and Certificate of Expenditure (FACE) reviews for the WFC Programme/Projects;
- Supporting Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfer (HACT) implementation;
- Drafting narrative and financial reports for donors with a particular focus on WFC Programme/Project;
- Organizing stakeholders' meetings with a particular focus on WFC Project and in collaboration with WFC Project;
- Processing purchase orders for WFC project;
- Providing yearly and quarterly procurement planning data, both for donor and other required reportsMaintaining contact with external human resources company to coordinate recruitment and payroll processes of Programme/Projects personnel;
- Supporting coordination activities with stakeholders at the central and provincial levels as needed under the guidance of WFC Programme Analyst, Gender and RH Programme Coordinators
- Guiding routine implementation of assigned projects, in coordination with national counterparts and project personnel, coordinating delivery of project inputs; and ensuring participation of national counterparts in training activities.
- Providing logistical support to projects by coordinating project related meetings, workshops and events. Training and guiding project personnel and staff on national execution and programme policies and procedures.
- Assisting in implementing knowledge management strategies to capture lessons learned and best practices, sharing these with management for future planning.
- Performing other related duties as required.
- Six years of relevant experience in programme/project management.
- Proficiency in current office software applications and corporate IT systems.
- Experience in budget monitoring such as processing budget revisions and preparing financial reports is an asset.
- Working experience with implementing partners is an asset.
- Technical knowledge on development issues and/or reproductive health and/or gender and/or protection is an asset.
- Working experience with an international organization is an asset.
- Familiarity with UN procedures and working methods is an asset.
