- Admin tasks such as tracking and monitoring of procurements and expenditures, maintains an office purchasing, inventory, and requisition system.
- Coordinates compiling of monthly financial reports including in-kind commodity income and disbursements for submission to the International Finance Controller and Country Director.
- Works closely with the Country Director and Program Managers to monitor the project budget.
- Assists project coordinators in ensuring compliance with RI procurements and field accounting policies and procedures, compliance with donor agreement and audit requirements.
- Works closely with project coordinators over the project implementation planning and cash flow projections.
- Prepares donor reports.
- Support with budget revision in close coordination with Project Managers when necessary.
- Makes sure that financial records and backup documentation is ready for internal and external audits.
- Support with Internal and External Auditors.
- Compile financial summaries for country office, checking for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure that financial records and backup documentation is ready for internal and external audits.
- Provide technical finance support services to the Field offices programs as required.
- Provide technical assistance to field programs and staff in matters of financial processes and procedures
- Other tasks as required.

- Consistent with RI's safeguarding and protection policies, contribute to ensuring that all those who come into contact with Relief International staff and the communities we serve can be trusted to work safely with them
- Support and develop systems that create and maintain an environment that prevents sexual exploitation and abuse and promotes the implementation of the Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies.
- Work collaboratively with the Global Safeguarding Manager to advocate for the inclusion of safeguarding activities and resources within program
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of donor requirements of safeguarding standards and protection from exploitation and abuse.
- Degree in accounting, business management, NGO management, or similar.
- Experience in finance position preferably with non-profit agencies. US and EC government funded grants financial and administrative experience is a preference.
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluency in written and spoken Turkish essential. Arabic language would be a bonus.
