The Sandvik Group has about 40,000 employees and worldwide business activities are conducted through representation in more than 150 countries.We are looking for an Accounting and Finance Professional to join our Finance Shared service team in Istanbul, Turkiye.The position is taking a critical role to control and execution the following accounting and financial functions below in Sandvik Turkiye including month-end closing, reporting and reconciliation. Reporting to Finance Manager.Key Responsibilities:

As a member of Finance shared service team in Sandvik Coromant Türkiye, closely working with accounting department and supporting related business areas.
Responsible for the month-end closing process of Sandvik Türkiye according to group reporting procedures.
Ensure that all required company IFRS reports are submitted accurately to group reporting system by meeting the deadlines. Providing management and ad-hoc reports with KPI's, profitability analysis and analytical review of monthly results for all divisions, preparing financial presentations.
As a key user, actively participate to finance related projects and internal process developments & implementations.
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams/networks such as Business Control, Financial Control, Sandvik Treasury.
Treasury activities handling; intercompany loan, FX/hedging/forward/swap transactions.
Executing accounting journals in connection to financial reporting.
Coordination with local IT department as well as global IT based support functions in order to secure data transfers, uploads, reconciliations between accounting & reporting systems.
Performing periodic internal controls and reports in line with Group Compliance Procedures, supporting internal audits, external local tax audits.
Contributing local reporting of the legal entity for authorities, such as periodic VAT declarations, annual income tax settlement, etc. Supporting e-ledger, e-archive, e-invoice processes.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering from reputable university.
Minimum 3 – 4 years relevant experience in finance, accounting, and reporting.
SAP experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and general accounting principles (including Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset
Ability to resolve issues with a positive and proactive approach
Fluency in English - both written and verbal.
Residing in or willing to relocate to Istanbul
