Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.Job SummaryThe Water Treatment Plant Foreman is a key professional in the management of water treatment facilities. They oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the plant, ensuring that water quality meets legal standards and is safe for public consumption. The foreman is responsible for coordinating a team of operators, technicians, and other staff, providing training, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. They also manage budgets, schedules, and inventory, and may be involved in the planning and implementation of system upgrades or expansions.Roles and Responsibilities

Supervising the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment.
Monitoring water quality and adjusting treatment processes as necessary.
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
Managing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Preparing reports on plant operations, compliance, and incidents.
Overseeing emergency response procedures and maintenance work.
Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
Implementing cost-saving measures and improving operational efficiency.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
Competence in using computer systems for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Proficiency with MS Office software.

Basic Qualifications

Turkish Citizenship
High school diploma or equivalent
Fulfilled Turkish Military obligation (male candidates)
Must have valid driver license (minimum Class B)
Experience in water treatment or a related field.
Knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

College degree in a related field.
Comprehend the English Level 2 or Higher.
Minimum 5 years' experience in the operation and maintenance of a Water Treatment Plant facility.
Current certifications/license in Water Treatment and/or Water Distribution.
Proficiency with SCADA system operations.
Knowledge of applicable maintenance and management theories, practices, and trends in an operations environment.
Familiarity with environmental and Water Treatment related programs.
