- Develop and manage an energy construction program, including the identification, programming, and advocacy of facility/infrastructure projects that shall move the installations toward the goal of achieving DoD/MAJCOM/Installation energy reduction/renewable goals and utility cost reductions IAW applicable DoD publications to include AFPD 32-10, Installations and Facilities.
- Create/maintain energy policies, facility audits, Building Life Cycle Cost (BLCC) Program, Return on Investment (ROI) metrics, cost performance improvement (CPI) recommendations, and engineering man-hour/project cost estimates as necessary to support the energy projects through the programming and approval process at AFCEC.
- Utilize energy audits, analytical studies, building life cycle cost analysis, energy projects and best practices to reduce overall energy/resources consumption and meet established conservation goals.
- Annotate actions and all associated savings reports quarterly and annually that include current value (realized or projected savings) and future savings.
- Perform and review facility energy audits and project management to include turning energy audit reports into actual construction to reduce energy consumption.
- Shall have four years' experience in the development of energy conservation initiatives for facilities.
- Certified as an Energy Manager (CEM) or possess a European Energy Manager Qualification (EEMQ) certification.
- Shall possess a bachelor's in engineering degree or equivalent.
- Have knowledge of USAF, DoD and U.S. Government energy policies, audits, and goals.
- Have a current driver’s license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
