Design and 3D model custom machinery, assemblies and sub-assemblies;
Assist project managers or other designers when required;
Provide technical support to production for the projects for which he is responsible;
Develop and modify tools and peripheral equipment for robotic cells;
Carry out visits and take data from customers;
Prepare purchase requests for equipment or special components;
Carry out product and component research and contact suppliers;
Assist with the start-up of equipment and participate in manufacturing and assembly tasks;
Participate in the development of maintenance and operation manuals;
Perform other related duties.

What We Do:

BAC in mechanical engineering or any other relevant training;
Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec an asset;
Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience as a designer;
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the automation and machine manufacturing sector;
Relevant experience in the industry related to robotization is an asset;
Knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
Very good knowledge of SolidWorks software. AutoCAD and other CAD and FEA software an asset;
Bilingualism, spoken and written (French and English).

Availability to travel outside the metropolitan area and outside the country;

Flexibility to work under pressure and in an environment where priorities change.

Our Environment

Up to 5% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
