- Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering. (Master or PhD preferred.)
- Having Embedded software design experience especially on ARM Cortex M series microcontrollers
- Minimum 5 years of experience on embedded C/C++ programming and debugging tools preferably
- Familiarity with Matlab /Simulink tools
- Self-motivated and a capability for working to a high level of detail and accuracy with an excellent working knowledge of modern microcontroller designs
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and practices
- Willing to make research about new technologies and new generations of microcontrollers
- General competency in periphery disciplines (electronics, electromagnetics, power electronics)
- FMEA, requirements management, project management, problem-solving methodologies, and tools
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and global team
- No restriction for traveling
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English (German is a plus)

- Researching and developing from concept ideation through product launch. Specific activities will include design, development and validation of power electronic-based Residential Products and Applications (multiphase permanent magnet brushless electric motor drive inverter system, Induction Cooking Systems and Renewable Solutions)
- Developing and improving Embedded Software Platforms and software architectures (in C/C++) on microcontrollers to ensure fast, and efficient execution of Power Electronics Projects including field-oriented motor control and induction cooking technologies in our products globally
- Designing new software frameworks based on ARM Cortex M0/M4/M7 series or microcontroller Vendor's Own Architectures
- Participating in cross-functional developments teams as a contributor, leader, and subject matter expert
- Performing computer-based component, circuit, and system simulation to prove our design performance and compliance with product specifications
- Reviewing technical and marketing literature associated with products developed
- Leading engineering team through the development of tollgate process
- Planning development projects through concept, design, validation, documentation, and production launch
- Acting as a technical resource and mentor for less-experienced engineers
- Using appropriate tools and test methods to ensure fully functional and robust embedded software prior to integration into platforms
- Planning embedded software activities aligned with project needs and timing
- Working with hardware and control engineers to drive appropriate trade-offs to deliver subsystem-level targets
- Translating technical/sub-system attribute targets into module/components targets
- Creating modules/libraries and facilitating the reuse of knowledge globally
- Collaborating across functional and geographic boundaries to leverage global knowledge and deliver winning solutions
- Defining technology roadmaps of the company regarding microcontrollers, SW development
- Technology scouting for new technologies in these areas
- Studying customer's requirements and providing comments for the feasibility study
