
Senior Costing Analyst

- Point of contact with Costing Center of Competence (CoC) for Material Price Healthchecks, Period-end closing activities and ad-hoc product costing.
- Coordinates calculation of Budgeted, Quarterly and ad-hoc Transfer Prices for exports with factory, CoC (Center of Competence) and IMS (Intermarket Supply) department.
- Provides materials consumption input for VAT (Value Added Tax) refund calculation.
- Follows DF (Dynamic Forecast) process with shared functions and BUs (Business Units) to provide timely and correct PnL (Profit and Loss) Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) data. Highlights the significant variances between Actual Costs and Dynamic Forecasts.
- Prepares monthly regular reports required for analysis and decision making.
- Takes part in Digitalisation and Global new projects.
- Analyzes Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) trends.
- Plays a key role in Year-end costing activities to define standard costs. Coordinates relevant parties (businesses, factory, data management, etc) for action plans and deadlines.
- Ensures compliance with Costing Standards.
- University degree from Economics, Engineering, Math or Business Administration.
- Min. 4 years experience in F&C (Finance & Control) department.
- Prior experience in Costing, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), Controlling, Accounting or IT, Business Analytics/ Intelligence.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong capabilities in using business tools, Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing), Data Science, PowerBI (Power Business Intelligence) knowledge will be an asset.
- Very strong analytical skills with the ability to pay attention to details while overseeing the big picture in the complex business setting (multi product categories, sales channels and high number of SKUs (Stock Keeping Units)).
- Patience and perseverance to meet the deadlines. Ownership and accountability for delivering expected results.
- Good communication skills both within the function and with other stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement mindset, proactive and open-minded towards new & different ways of doing things.
