Trading Assistant

• Work together with other regions to build inter-regional trade flows.
• Participate in discussion on global trading strategy
• Report on the regional market regularly to the rest of the refined metals and concentrates trading team worldwide, providing both statistics and anecdotal evidence of the performance of and goings-on in the market.
• Seek insight into competitor and counterpart activities
• Coordinate with execution/treasury/hedge desk/trade finance staff to ensure smooth execution of contracts and good service to customers
• Contacting new miners and metal consumers in the region and market company products in region market
• Learn about working with warehouses, how they function, stock management, best allocation of purchases to sales to meet customer needs and maximise book value

• Bachelors or Master's Degree,
• Fluent English
• Service and result oriented; very reactive
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Detail oriented, accurate and comfortable with numbers
