We are on the cusp of a new frontier in which machine learning and artificial intelligence are transforming our ability to model and predict the properties of matter at the atomic scale. This will create profound opportunities to create new molecules and materials and to help tackle some of society's most important challenges, including sustainability, our understanding of biology, and the treatment of disease.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr RSDE with expertise in Microsoft Azure or an equivalent cloud system.
Responsibilities: * Architect, design, and implement scalable and robust infrastructure solutions for machine learning and scientific research pipelines on Microsoft Azure, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, researchers, and software engineers, to understand requirements and translate them into Azure-based infrastructure solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with Linux and Linux system administration
- Experience working with very large datasets
- Proficiency in Python
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops).
- Familiarity with Docker or other virtualization technologies
