  • Support Finance Ops Lead to secure a solid bedrock for finance activities in the Country Finance Team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all business transactions in ERP system according to the local GAAP rules for statutory and tax reporting. Participate in "lock meetings" (operational review meeting between 3rd party provider, European Finance Operation Team, Country Finance Lead) to support and supervise correctness of data in ERP system.
  • Make sure that all financial data in statutory ledger is recorded and maintained inaccordance with Statutory Legislation. Prepare monthy Trial Balance, Balance Sheet &PL review packages and take actions where records or supporting documentation areneeded to be corrected / improved.
  • Support/supervise PEC related activities of EFO (Accruals/JV prep, BS recon, BankAccount accounting and recon, Fixed Assets, Lease, IC, Inv recon) together with Cost &Statutory Accountant
  • Prepare timely and accurately statutory and tax reports, in accordance with local GAAP,Tax regulations and Group standards . Fulfil reporting requirements, including legal,statistical information and e-ledger submission
  • Prepare Corporate Income Tax computation and reporting (quarterly and annually)together with declarations and provide assurance from / alignment with Tax Auditors
  • Provide backup for review of VAT, VAT refunds, social insurances, and other indirecttax declarations to reconcile that they are prepared and presented in alignment withstatutory records. Request revision from AP/ Indirect Tax Accountant where necessary
  • Supervise that data and output provided by the outsouce partner are reliable and meetingdefined performance indicators
  • Help ensure Group Transfer Pricing framework is implemented and followed, country specific regulations regarding Transfer Prices are understood and effects agreed with Group Tax team.
  • Partcipate actively in managing internal audits, tax audits, make sure timely, accurately and proper preparations for inspections.
  • Manage communications with Tax Offices for applications, follow up of notifications,other documantations and certifications
  • Follow up and coordinate with external advisors the legal procedures (i.e General / Extaordinary Assemly, Signature Circular, Capital injection, etc.)
  • Closely follow changes in and amendments to Statutory and Tax legislation and inform Finance Ops Lead regularly, provide inputs for impact assesment of these changes to Turkey office together with Finance Ops Lead and external service providers
  • Take active role in implementation of new projects where statutory and tax outcomes are directly affected (i.e. Inflation accounting)

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Finance, Tax, Audit or Compliance
  • SMMM certification
  • Hands-on approach, independency in work, ability to set objectives, deadlines and meet
  • Experience in working with multiply teams, 3rd party
  • Process management and compliance knowledge within a complex, matrix organization and across different functions.
  • Experience with ERP / SAP in decentralised environment desired
  • Good understanding of practical issues and trade-offs faced at country level, while still be able to communicate need to adhere to global standards and principles
