- As a Duty Manager, specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- To provide consistent and superior service, and maintain high service standards
- Actively seeking verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis.
- Agreeing and implementing actions to improve customer service.
- Positively dealing with and learning from customer complaints and comments.
- Making sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively.
- Welcoming personally ‘special attention’ and VIP guests.
- To be fully aware and competent in accident report procedures, maintenance fault reporting procedures, fire policy and procedure, bomb threat procedure, procedure in case of doctor assistance required and First Aid
- To have perfect knowledge of company’s Health & Safety Policy, and to act always accordingly.
- To have thorough knowledge of department Brand Standards.
- Editing Duty Manager Log daily and distributing it to all related people.
- Ensuring all comments referring to SALT and Guest Assistance are inserted in guest profile for future reference.
- Having a detailed knowledge and daily completion of the DM checklist.
- Ensuring daily follow up on DM reports are done by appropriate department
- Reporting any defects and faults to appropriate department and following up on it
- To contribute to the overall security of the hotel by reporting any unusual occurrences to security department.
- Ensuring the shift is reviewed and hand over and briefings are carried out.
- Maintaining in-depth technical knowledge and skills required for the job.
