  • Support the End to End Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager in developing the investment project charter and ensure that it is strictly followed throughout the project, develop or support Construction & Installation S&H Plan, support supplier selections according to contractor safety assesment results.
  • Execute the basic and detailed design of the project based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications and the TPM (Total Performance Management) characteristics of a unit operation (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability and reliability). Ensure by design the workers, and operators, safety during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant. Perform SHE risk assessments prior to all projects installations in coordination with project, production, technical and SHE team. Identify, Assess and Manage Construction & Installation S&H Risks.
  • Ensure that the engineering side of the project is implemented (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality and the characteristics of a unit operation. And that all of the elements of the project (including technical people training, as needed) in performed in such a way that safety is always guaranteed on the whole project site and that a vertical start-up is assured. Select and qualify contractors and coordinate their activities. Ensure that Nestlé standards are applied.Coordinate with project team and contractors to take actions with respect to the SHE (Safety,Health & Environment) management plan and risk assessments. Monitoring safety lagging indicators and controlling at site all actions in place to ensure operations safety and continuity.Coach and develop supplier site team to increase SHE awareness to increase their SHE assesment score
  • Support the start-up manager and their team to ensure a smooth transition to operations after the qualification and verification of the installation.
  • Contribute to and support the preparation and distributing the engineering project documentation, including the engineering part of the project final report and provide feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System.Provide feedback to procurement about supplier’s SHE (Safety,Health & Environment) evaluation as a decision maker for next projects
  • Promote development of environmental-friendly and sustainable solutions. Mobilise resources (internal & external), follow-up contractors S&H (Safety & Health) performance and recognition, penalty system set-up, apply for construction.
Which profile are we looking for?
  • Manufacturing projects management: 5 years experience in capital investment projects development and implementation in food industry.
  • Determination of methods to minimise the likelihood of injuries or damages to people and/or equipment
  • Factory operations (as required)
  • Bachelor's or master's degree
  • Excellent command of English
