Job Description1- Selection of seed growers and fields.2 -Creating and mapping isolations in accordance with the production plan together with the selected breeders3- Visits to seed growers throughout the season and providing necessary training to growers, organizing grower meetings in villages4- Making all necessary contracts regarding seed production areas and obtaining their signatures in full5- Monitoring growers during the production season and providing technical support to growers when necessary6- Carrying out field inspections and coordinating field activities together with growers7- To inform seed growers verbally when necessary, through written communication and warning forms.8- Monitoring of plant pests, diseases and weed control throughout the season and finding and implementing solutions9- Taking actions to solve any problems that may arise in the first stage, producing solution suggestions, and sharing the solution suggestions with the manager10 -Obtaining all records to be used during the production period in a timely and complete manner, filling in the forms and lists required to be filled in accordance with the procedure, on time and without any errors.11- Creating and updating breeder lists12 – Creating and updating advance lists (Cash and In-Kind advances)13 -Creating beekeeper lists and determining which beekeeper will go to which field14 -Creating breeder progress lists and sharing the correct list with Admin15- Conducting grower product purchase analyzes in the field and sharing and recording the results with the grower16 -Worker management in field activities, ensuring maximum performance from workers17- Selection and management of the field technicians to work with and organizing the necessary training, as well as directing and training the company’s personnel if working with a service provider.18- Act as coordinator and contact person for the local grower base to ensure consistent production of good quality seed at the lowest possible cost19- To make a pre-season budget for expenses within his/her area of responsibility and to follow the budget.20- Planning; Good planting planning required for harvesting at optimum humidity, harvest planning for transportation, planting planning for the planter, labor planning for the fertile, male cutting planning for the service provider.21 -Complying with planning, tassel fertile (for Sunflower) and Harvest protocols22 -Being an example to those around you (grower, service provider, technician, etc.)23- Providing all kinds of training regarding occupational safety to the employees, service providers and trainers, and taking the necessary precautions and actions during the work.24- Carrying out necessary field controls for certification, following up field declarations and FCR’s (Field Control Reports)25-Supporting and managing different projects: Seed Pro, Pro-Map, Irriga, Drip irrigation, New Field equipment use, achieving annual quality targets, etc.26- Reporting the reports to be filled out throughout the season to the manager on time.27 -Ensuring the maintenance, repair and calibration of the machines to be used before the season.28 -Determining the needs of the tools and equipment required for the production in his/her area of responsibility (soil crushing, mechanical hoeing, conveyor, moisture meter, generator, etc.) and delivering them to the supervisor in a list.To know more about Corteva please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs3CpU29-1MTo help us track our recruitment effort, please indicate in your cover/motivation letter where (vacanciesinturkey.com) you saw this job posting.
