- Suspicious Transaction Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring systems to detect suspicious transaction patterns and activities that may indicate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes.
- Case Assessment and Investigation: Analyze automated alerts and manual referrals to evaluate potential risks, conduct in-depth investigations, and present findings in detailed reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism) regulations, KYC (Know Your Customer) principles, and international sanctions lists such as OFAC, UN, EU, and MASAK. Stay up-to-date with developments in these areas.
- Reporting: Submit regular, periodic, and ad-hoc reports on identified suspicious activities to relevant internal and external stakeholders, including legal authorities like MASAK.
- Data Analysis and Automation: Analyze large datasets to identify compliance risk areas, automate manual processes, and develop solutions to increase efficiency.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine compliance strategies in line with market dynamics.
- Process Improvement: Review business processes, address identified gaps, and update them to meet changing business needs, ensuring compliance is integrated into workflows.
- Training and Guidance: Provide guidance to business units on the impact of newly issued regulations on existing products, services, and processes, offering support on compliance matters.
- Bachelor’s degree is required,
- 1+ years of demonstrable experience in suspicious transaction monitoring and analysis processes,
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, including Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime, Financing of Terrorism, and Financing of Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction. (Both MASAK and International Regulations),
- Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves,
- Clear and concise verbal/written communication and data reporting skills,
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken,
- Motivated self-starter who works well individually and able to work effectively with multiple teams,
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus,
- Professional qualifications such as CTMA, CAMS, CGSS, CCAS are plus.
