Overview:This role is accountable for the end-to-end leadership of Manisa Plant operations, covering Production, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Sustainability, and Continuous Improvement. It ensures the effective execution of business plans, site scorecards, and capability agendas, while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and compliance with PepsiCo’s standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct Production, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Sustainability, Project Management & continuous improvement functions in plant.
  • Lead & manage the “Site Leadership Team” of the Plant.
  • For each AOP & strategy process, make the Direct Labor, MOH & Capex budgets, confirm within Manufacturing
  • Lead Team and meet annual and mid-month forcasts
  • As part of those processes, develop best product, capacity & demand split between Suadiye & Tarsus taking into account minimum production cost & minimum investment with the involvement of Supply Chain Department.
  • Lead Plant Capex within the agreed phasing & implementation plan.
  • Lead Plant Sustainability agenda including ERP program in the plant.
  • Construct partnership with Plant for including in the overall management of the plant.
  • Letting Plant HR Manager doing the liaison, coach and direct all plant relations with the surrounding legal commune and intervene in critical cases.
  • Lead ongoing quality programs : HACCP, AIB, VA, Consumer Complaints, etc.
  • Lead “Product Safety” & “Product Recall” task forces as per implied by current Crisis Management Organization in the company on behalf (Manufacturing).
  • Contribute to ongoing site expert trainer (SET) programs in the region.
  • Launch the plant scorecard & operational reports every month, identify rooms for improvement and follow up on forward & corrective actions.
  • Develop the Capability Calendar and Manufacturing Activity Calendar with plant leaders and keep those calendars linked to ongoing MOH forecasts.
  • Be the key driver of OHS & organizational capability development in the plant.
  • Lead the company-wide “Funding the Growth Program” & report savings each month to Business Unit.
  • Maintain best control standards for technical material management & scheduling.
  • Meet the requirements of GEHSMS and ISO 14001 Environmental Management system procedures and instructions both himself and his direct reports.
  • Provide sources to create, implement, continue to improve the GEHSMS and ISO 14001 Environmental Management system.
  • Preside the Management Review Meeting, review the performance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management system.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringFluent in English & Turkish (written & spoken)Minimum 10 years of experience in plant management/productionStrong experience in managing unionized organizations and labor relationsResult-oriented with strong analytical and strategic decision-making skillsAbility to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams; strong people management skillsDemonstrated leadership in change management, continuous improvement, and stakeholder managementStrong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
