- Manages accounts according to agreed targets and company guidelines, identifying customer needs and promoting Kuehne+Nagel's offer portfolio.
- Actively seeks new customers to expand the portfolio and drive business growth.
- Understands customer organizations, decision-making processes, business models, and competitive environments.
- Negotiates rates and service contracts in alignment with business units, ensuring all commercial requirements are documented and maintained.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of Kuehne+Nagel's service offerings and effectively communicates value to customers.
- Adheres to Kuehne+Nagel's sales management processes and systems, ensuring timely and accurate updates in CRM/CoreLog.
- Monitors monthly performance against targets, taking immediate action in case of deviations, including reporting on pipeline, wins, losses, and financial indicators.
- Ensures proper account planning and structured customer review sessions, focusing on continuous improvement, strategy alignment, and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in sales, key account management, and business development within the logistics sector, with a strong sales track record.
- Deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships across various organizational levels.
- Competitive mindset with excellent negotiation skills and a drive to achieve business goals.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and familiarity with sales management processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
