- Strengthen the company’s reputation with key policymakers by establishing and maintaining continuous relationships.
- Lead outreach programs and engage proactively with government bodies and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate potential public initiatives and communicate them within the company.
- Conduct research and provide intelligence on upcoming policy developments and activities.
- Develop and implement appropriate stakeholder engagement strategies, representing Yemeksepeti at key industry associations.
- Monitor regulatory and political risks relevant to the business.
- Lead outreach programs and proactively engage with government bodies and other external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the global public affairs team at Delivery Hero to understand policy developments in other jurisdictions and ensure the country strategy is aligned.
- Maintain the highest standards of personal ethical behavior, confidentiality, and honesty, upholding a strong professional reputation in the industry.
- Bachelor's Degree (Law, International Relations/Politics, Public Administration, Economics, or Business Administration).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- At least 5 years of experience in public policy, research and/or law - ideally in corporate public policy or government relations roles, industry associations, think tanks, or government departments. (Preferably in e-commerce, competition, digital / innovation and entrepreneurship policies).
- Ability to identify and understand the main technical aspects related to Yemeksepeti’s business in legal and regulatory proposals, understand business results, and synthesize policy documents for internal and external customers.
- Strong influencing, communication and decision-making skills; able to impress and convince diverse stakeholders.
- Critical thinker: can process data from multiple sources, predict scenarios, and recommend actions under uncertainty.
- Solid understanding of policy-making processes and public sector relations, especially in economic policy and regulation.
- Open to new challenges, eager to learn and grow.
- Based in Ankara (travel will be required).
