Participating in customer visits with the sales team to provide hands-on technical support and product expertise
Commissioning and troubleshooting systems on-site, especially for prototype and first-time installations
Leading and/or supporting in-house and customer-specific trainings to build technical knowledge around our General Automation and Mobile/Industrial Hydraulic Electrification solutions
Following up on technical requirements, opportunities and customer feedback both independently and alongside sales teams
Supporting new projects by working directly with customers to define technical specs and recommend product solutions
Acting as a go-to technical contact for our Automation Electrification (AE) and Mobile/Industrial Hydraulic Electrification product range, responding to inquiries and guiding product usage
Staying current with related product developments and sharing key updates internally and with clients
Contributing to the introduction of new strategies and improvements, especially in areas focused on innovation, software development and optimization
Coordinating complex, multi-step technical processes and taking corrective actions as needed
Supporting strategic goals with regular target vs. actual performance assessments
Representing the technical perspective in front of customers and management, with confidence and ownership
Offering expert-level guidance to both colleagues and third parties in your area of technical specialization

Qualifications

A degree in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics or Software Engineering
5+ years of hands-on experience in the field or in technical support roles
Solid English communication skills
Willingness to travel frequently (around 50-60% of the time)
A background in Mobile/Industrial Hydraulic Electrification is definitely a plus
Familiarity with PLC (CODESYS is a plus), C programming and communication protocols like EtherCAT, PROFINET or CANopen would be helpful
A curious mind, a hands-on approach and the ability to adapt to different situations in the field
