The Operations Head plays a vital role in overseeing the Overall factory operation and ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive operational excellence within the manufacturing department. This position also works closely with the finance, procurement, planning, and sales teams to ensure that the company's products are designed, manufactured, and delivered to the highest quality standards.Qualifications
- Graduated from relevant Engineering departments of universities (B. Tech/ M. Tech (Mechanical/Industrial/Production)
- Nice to have MBA - Operations
- Good command English both written and spoken,
- Having in between 15-20 years' experience,
- Having prior min. 4-5 years' experience as Plant Manager/ Production Manager in large manufacturing setup.
- Candidates from FMCG/Pharma / F&B will be preferable,
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma is essential,
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and relevant regulations,
- Strong Communication skills
- Robust leadership skills / people management
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Drive production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Direct the enforcement of quality control measures to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to align manufacturing activities with sales forecasts, demand & Supply planning, and budgetary constraints.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
- Manage and develop a high-performance manufacturing team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing, and actively seek opportunities to leverage new technologies or methodologies to improve manufacturing processes.
