Read the vacancy below and learn more about this exciting opportunity!What will you be doing as a Quality and Food Safety Engineer?As a QFS Engineer, you will be a key player in maintaining and enhancing our robust Quality and Food Safety Management Systems across the supply chain. You will work diligently to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the overall excellence of our products.This will be done through the following activities:
Maintain and continuously improve our Quality and Food/Feed Safety Management Systems.
Develop, implement, and update HACCP plans throughout the entire supply chain.
Conduct verification processes for QFS Management Systems through GMP audits, internal inspections, and review of related programs (HACCP/OPRP/PRP).
Manage and oversee all operational and prerequisite programs, including microbiology, pest control, GMP, hygiene, and cleaning.
Support Bunge's Global QFS and Continuous Improvement practices (e.g., TPLYM, Toolbox talks, 5S, Kaizen).
Contribute to root cause analysis, conduct data analysis, and provide feedback on consumer and customer complaints, taking proactive action to prevent recurrence of nonconformities.
Prepare product, packaging, and input chemical specifications; support product evaluation and implementation in New Product Development (NPD) processes.
Ensure compliance with Ministry of Trade regulations, including export product registration.
Contribute to the training, development, performance, and motivation of the team members.
What do we expect from our Quality and Food Safety Engineer?
Bachelor's degree in Food or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the food industry.
Fluent Business English.
Strong understanding and practical experience with Quality and Food/Feed Safety Management Systems (HACCP, GMP).
Knowledge and experience in international standards like BRC, FSSC 22000, Organic, Halal, and Kosher systems is a plus.
Familiarity with relevant legal requirements in the field.
Proficiency in MS Office programs and SAP experience.
Ethical, proactive, analytical, and team-oriented mindset.
