- Design, implement, and own the overall marketing strategy aligned with the firm's business objectives and growth targets.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities, risks, and trends in the e-commerce software sector.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels and campaigns.
- Steward the firm brand, enhancing visibility and reputation in the marketplace.
- Oversee the development of brand guidelines and ensure their consistent application internally and externally.
- Identify and execute initiatives to differentiate the firm from its competitors.
- Digital Marketing & Demand Generation
- Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
- Oversee the planning and execution of performance marketing strategies to generate qualified leads and boost online conversions.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to optimize the lead funnel and ensure alignment on revenue goals.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing marketing team with expertise across digital, content, creative, PR, and analytics.
- Set clear goals and KPIs for team members, providing regular feedback and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Champion professional development and facilitate training opportunities for team growth.
- Content and Communication
- Develop and oversee a robust content strategy to educate, inform, and engage the firm's target audience.
- Supervise the creation of thought leadership pieces, case studies, product documentation, press releases, and more.
- Maintain relationships with media, industry analysts, and influencers to amplify brand presence and manage external communications.
- Work closely with product management and development teams to define product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for new releases.
- Gather market and customer insights to inform product development and marketing tactics.
- Develop launch campaigns that resonate with target customers and drive adoption.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events such as conferences, webinars, trade shows, and customer summits.
- Represent the firm at industry events, building relationships and identifying partnership opportunities.
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize ROI.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate across departments-especially with sales, product, customer support, and executive leadership-to align marketing with overall business goals.
- Foster a culture of open communication and shared objectives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of progressive marketing experience, with a proven track record in leadership roles, ideally within the technology or e-commerce sector.
- Expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and demand generation.
- Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape, SaaS solutions, and B2B marketing best practices.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in leveraging analytics tools to drive insights and decision-making.
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation.
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
