We’re headquartered in Palma, Mallorca and employ around 3,500 people worldwide.JOB DESCRIPTION:Regional Manager is accountable for the implementation of Sourcing Strategy and delivery of targets for the Region.Regional Manager will be responsible of ensuring excellence and efficiency in Contracting and Yielding operations, as well as of negotiation & development of strong relationships with key strategic accounts in the region.Main Accountabilities:Lead and develop the team effectively to reach the regional targets and key business objectives across the Region.Set up a strong accountability mindset by assisting and coaching the team members to develop their individual strategies through improving their skills, abilities and competencies.Partner closely with the Regional Director, and G&DS on efficient planning and execution of strategic plans, having a clear understanding of the initiatives and targets by developing clear guidance to drive and effectively implement our key strategic partnership programsParticipate and attend key hotelier meetings that require Area leadership representation to negotiate together with the Contracting Manager focusing on top Regional Chains that drive the biggest revenue and G&D Agreements.Help with solving any operational issues related with internal tools, systems or processes, in order to help the team to reach their goals.Requirements:Strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with suppliers and other stakeholdersProven ability to lead and mentor a team towards successful outcomesExperienced leader with proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environmentSolid experience in negotiating agreements and conditions with suppliersProven ability to build high achieving teamsProven ability to build strong internal and external relationships with individuals and hotel partners using an open and consultative approachHighly developed communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skillsAbility to demonstrate & teach others a partnership approach to negotiation and salesIT proficiency including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet technologiesSolid experience and commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries, key competitors, industry issues and related technologyPerfect understanding of the HB systems and processes, as well as Sourcing expertise and knowledge, to guide the team effectively in the daily work.Revenue Management & Distribution understandingPrevious experience of contracting and negotiation suppliersExperience and knowledge of understanding of the geographically region or similar way of contracting with suppliersExcellent in English spoken and writtenYou will have the opportunity to work for a company that is going through significant change in becoming the world´s leading travel services provider.
